San Lorenzo Best P-LINKK Station
Municipality of San Lorenzo outranks four other Municipalities as Best P-LINKK Station in the Province of Guimaras during the Search for Best P-LINKK Station in line with 15th year crime prevention week celebration on September 1-7, 2009.
San Lorenzo garnered the average score of 88 points while the municipality of Nueva Valencia ranks 2nd with 84 points, and the Municipality of Sibunag ranks 3rd with 78 points.
The criteria for the search are: Physical Set-up, performance, and resourcefulness. In physical set-up, the presence of emergency contact numbers, appearance of the P-LINKK room, logbook and dispatch form are important. Performance reflects the messages received and responded and the courtesy/phone ethics of the staff on duty is given points while resourcefulness signifies the promising of load to LINKK cell/ using alternative cell phones to conduct quick response.
The search for 2009 Best P-LINKK Station is conducted by the PPOC chaired by Felipe Hilan A. Nava in coordination with the Department of Interior and Local Government in the province of Guimaras.
