Crown Awardee. Province of Guimaras awarded as the Most Outstanding Province in Nutrition in hunger mitigating program in the Philippines. for three consecutive times the province proven its worth to be the Crown Awardee in Nutrition.
Dr. Felicito Lozarita, PHO II, Ms. Thelma Arroyo, PNAO received the cash award of P100,000 from Philippine Nutrition Council at the the PICC Manila last October 15, 2009. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who personally gave the cash award lauded the exemplary health practices of the province.
