Days for Girls feminine kits were distributed to young girls in Kati-kati, an Ati Community in Barangay San Miguel of Jordan town, through the Provincial Government in partnership with the Latter Day Saints Missionary on June 28, 2016

The said feminine kits were created to break the cycle of an uneducated girls and women in developing countries on the issue of their anatomy, functions and care of their female reproductive bodily parts according to Sister Becky Cushing.

Further, Cushing said that the purpose of the Days for Girls International is to help needy school age girls and encourage sewing career to women in the rural areas of the Philippines.

A livelihood program is likewise proposed by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) to sustain the non-consumable feminine hygiene kits.
