The Provincial Government of Guimaras has announced its initiative to procure Smart TV sets for schools across the province as part of its commitment to enhancing educational delivery and bridging the digital divide for learners.
During the Provincial School Board (PSB) meeting on December 16, 2024 at the Congressional Hall, San Miguel, Jordan, Governor JC Rahman A. Nava, MD emphasized the importance of adopting innovative approaches to address the challenges faced by students and teachers in the ever-evolving educational landscape.

The turnover ceremony for the equipment, furnitures, fixtures, and the Psychological First Aid manual was held on December 16, 2024 at the Congressional Hall, San Miguel, Jordan.

The Provincial Government of Guimaras held the Barangay Health Workers Congress on December 13, 2024 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, bringing together 752 BHWs from all over the province to recognize their invaluable contributions in delivering essential healthcare services to local communities.
With the theme “Sa Bagong Pilipinas bawat BHW ay mahalaga, kalusugan ay laging alaga”, the event underscored the critical role of BHWs as frontliners in promoting health and wellness in the grassroots level, particularly in remote and underserved areas of Guimaras.

The Provincial Government of Guimaras (PGG) celebrated the exemplary dedication, hard work, and contributions of its employees during the annual Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PAHO) Awards, held on December 12, 2024 at Guimaras Mountain Resort, Daragan, Buenavista.
A total of 102 employees and two offices of the Provincial Government received Loyalty Award, Career and Self-Development Award, Gantimpala Agad Award, and Special Award categories. In addition, 17 employees who have retired in service this year were presented with Service Award and four of them were given their “pabaon”.
