Barangay Espinosa of the Municipality of Jordan shall be on lockdown as per Executive Order No. 48 Series of 2020 of Mayor Ruben Corpuz

The said lockdown is effective 12:01PM of August 17, 2020 until 11:59PM of August 20, 2020.

As of August 16, 2020, there has been three (3) confirmed COVID-19 positive cases at Brgy. Espinosa, Jordan, Guimaras;

Barriers/Checkpoint in the boundaries of Barangay Espinosa shall be put up to ensure that there shall be no inbound or outbound movement in the Barangay.

Constant and maximum police visibility be effected to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.

Liquor Ban shall be implemented within Barangay Espinosa in the duration of the Lockdown to secure that there will be no gatherings in the respective households and other related activities.

All residents are not allowed to go out from their respective households and direct contacts shall have undergo strict home quarantine for 14 days.

Frontliners and other individuals working outside of the Barangay shall be allowed to leave and stay outside of the Barangay in the duration of the lockdown, given that they are not identified as direct contacts of the COVID-19 positive patients.

Constant handwashing, wearing of face masks, face shields and social distancing shall be strictly implemented.

A coordinator per Sitio shall be assigned to coordinate with the Punong Barangay for the provision of basic needs emergency concerns. Direct hotlines from the Office of the Mayor will be made available for immediate coordination.

Violation of this order will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law and other issuances appertaining to COVID-19 Response.
