GOV. NAVA LEADS SCHOOL BUILDING GROUNDBREAKING IN JORDAN CENTRAL SCHOOL

Governor JC Rahman Nava, MD., spearheaded the groundbreaking ceremony of a two-storey building at Jordan Central School in Poblacion, Jordan, Guimaras on May 31, 2024.

“Ang budget sang Educational Assistance sa mga estudayante naga balor na sa Php 40 million. Positive indicator ini nga nagadamo ang mga kabataan ang nagabalik sa pag-eskwela. Daku gid nga value ang edukasyon nga pwede natun mahatag sa next generation sa probinsya sang Guimaras. Tungod sini ginhimu natun ang new program called “Kabataan FIRST” agud mag-focus sa aton mga kabataan,” Governor Nava said during his message.

The two-storey school building has an allocated budget of Php 40 million. The building will house a total of 10 classrooms.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) headed by Engr. Randolfo Melosantos, has already conducted soil testing to ensure the safety of the students.

Vice Governor Atty. John Edward Gando also graced the groundbreaking ceremony.

“Bilang isa ka produkto sang Jordan Central School, naga-lumapaw ang akon kalipay subong kag pagpasalamat sa aton palangga nga Gobernador JC Rahman Nava kag Congresswoman Ma. Lucille Nava,” Vice-Governor Gando said.

He added that the funds collected from the Alumni Association will be used for school fencing.

The building will be situated at the back portion of the school pavilion.

Ms. Cristita Taduran, Principal II of Jordan Central School also gave her words of appreciation.
