GUIMARAS SEALS 2026 BUDGET: A PROMISE OF PROGRESS FOR THE PEOPLE

Governor Ma. Lucille L. Nava, MD, officially signed the Annual Executive Budget of the Province of Guimaras for Fiscal Year 2026, as well as the Annual Executive Budget of the Local Economic Enterprise (DCGNMC) for the same fiscal year, today, November 21, 2025.

Appropriation Ordinance No. 2025-22, enacted by the 11th Sangguniang Panlalawigan, allocates ₱1,288,465,420.00 for the general fund covering various expenditures for the operation of the Provincial Government of Guimaras and ₱334,640,000.00 for the Local Economic Enterprise covering the operation of the Dr. Catalino Gallego Nava Medical Center (DCGNMC).

“Today’s signing of the 2026 Annual Executive Budget for Guimaras is not just a procedural milestone—it is a bold statement of our commitment to progress, shared prosperity, and responsible governance for our beloved island. Guimaras is no ordinary province, as proven by the achievements we have earned through the years,” Governor Nava said.

She also expressed gratitude to the members of the 11th Sangguniang Panlalawigan and the department heads.

“I would like to thank all members of this roundtable for prioritizing our people above all. Let this budget signing serve not just as a ceremony, but as a renewal of our collective promise to serve, uplift, and protect Guimaras—our home.

”Joining the ceremony were Vice Governor Cecile Gumarin, members of the 11th Sangguniang Panlalawigan, and department heads at the Office of the Governor, Kapitolyo Probinsyal sang Guimaras.
