PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT TURNS OVER SMART TV SETS TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS

In a bid to strengthen digital learning, the Provincial Government of Guimaras (PGG) formally turned over SMART TV sets to public schools across the province on April 10, 2025. The ceremonial turnover was held at the Conference Room, Office of the Governor, New Tourism Building, San Miguel, Jordan.

A total of 98 Smart TV sets will be provided to Grade 3 learners in the province. It will be strategically distributed to public schools and learning hubs identified by the Provincial School Board in partnership with the Department of Education-Guimaras. 

The initiative, spearheaded by Governor JC Rahman A. Nava MD, aims to improve the delivery of lessons and provide access to multimedia educational resources, especially in geographically disadvantaged areas where digital tools are limited. 

The SMART TV sets will be used to support modular and blended learning, enabling teachers to present video lessons, interactive content, and other digital materials in classrooms. 


The Department of Education-Division of Guimaras expressed gratitude to the Provincial Government of Guimaras for its continuing efforts to uplift the quality of education in the province.
